Occurrence Form vs. Claims Made
Yoga Alliance
Yoga Alliance Alliant insurance uses claims-made policies. Here is an example of claims-made: say your policy expires December 31st and you have your last class of the year scheduled. A student gets injured but doesn’t say anything until their next class with you two weeks into January. Even though this incident occurred when the policy was active, because it had since lapsed, you couldn’t go back and file a claim for any losses you experience. If there was a lawsuit against you, you’d be left paying for your defense completely out-of-pocket.
Student Policies
Yoga Alliance
Yoga Alliance insurance does not currently provide insurance for yoga students.
