Are you feeling like your title of "business owner" is about to be taken from you at any moment? Or maybe you don't even call yourself a business owner yet. This is absolutely normal and you're not alone in this feeling. But you have confidence deep down in you, all you have to do is uncover it. In this training, Amanda dives deep to share tips on how to uncover this internal confidence so you can be the confident entrepreneur you dream to be!
Uncovering Your Confidence
Navigating the world of entrepreneurship can be overwhelming, especially for those just starting out. As business goes through its ups and downs, your confidence can easily take a hit.
It's OK to second guess yourself - you're not alone! These feelings are common, and there are a variety of ways to reinforce your confidence.
Remember who you are
When you pour your heart and soul into your yoga work, it's easy to lose sight of other facets of your life. Studios come and go, but remember that you're so much more than a CEO, manager or owner. You may be a spouse, a partner, a parent, a friend, sibling, a dog or cat owner - the list goes on and on.
Chase your own dreams - not someone else's
Stats like social media engagement, site visitors, opened emails, etc. are important, but it's just as critical to understand why you're chasing the goals you've set. No two yoga classes are alike, and your aspirations aren't dictated by what others are doing.
Amanda says it's important to define success on your own terms. Competition with others can often lead to "shoulding" yourself - ignoring what feels right for your business and instead focusing on what you think "should" be doing.
Set realistic goals
Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. The perfect business doesn't exist - how many projects or ideas have you had stay on the cutting room floor because they weren't "perfect?"
Amanda says getting things done trumps making them "perfect" every single time. Business is inherently risky, so take that leap of faith, trust yourself, and get it done. Your ideas can't make an impact if they're stuck in your head rather than out in the real world.
