Sadie’s Yoga Style
Sadie is known for her take on Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga, which she likes to think of as a “perspective” on all yoga. She created Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga after training for years, she discovered a lack of understanding on the core of most yoga poses on all different levels, from mental, physical, energetic, spiritual, and emotional.
Along the way, Sadie met, Leslie Kaminoff of The Breathing Project. Under his expertise in yoga, anatomy, pranayama, and philosophy, she continued to evolve her understanding of the multi-faceted core.
To bring students to their true center, Sadie created her specific movements, core poses, sequences and postures that bring her students into core-generated alignment, improving stability and safety while causing a more efficient total mind and body transformation. Together, her principles and poses simplify how to access and use the core to gain the maximum benefits in no time.
Sadie views that the core is often seen as only a superficial muscle. The core is important, but there are muscles, energy, philosophy, within the core of the spirit and body complex. Sadie teaches it all to you so you can discover what your core is capable of and how you can make it work.
Sadie’s interest in anatomy led her to study the work of Tom Myers. Myers' findings build on the idea of the core from six abdominal muscles to multiple head-to-toe interconnecting lines of muscle that make up the support system.
